Ms. Mahoney received a Bachelor of Arts degree in history graduating Magna Cum Laude from Boston College in 1982. She received her Juris Doctor degree from New York Law School graduating Cum Laude in 1986.

For a decade Ms. Mahoney was associated with the law firm of Connell, Foley & Geiser, LLP where she provided legal services in a number of practice areas, specializing in the defense of professional liability and medical malpractice matters.

Ms. Mahoney has been both a Pupil and Barrister of the Worrall F. Mountain American Inn of Court and an appointed Committee Investigator of the Supreme Court of New Jersey District Ethics Committee, Essex County-District V-B.

She has had extensive community involvement on a number of local governing Boards in both elected and appointed capacities.

Ms. Mahoney joined the firm of Wahrenberger & Pietro, LLP in 2006. Her practice focuses on civil litigation with experience in the general and medical malpractice arena.
